About this Event
The Cal Poly Alumni — San Francisco Community invites you to celebrate Cal Poly's founding from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 8 at SPARK Social SF (1379 4th Street, San Francisco, CA 94158)
Cal Poly’s story began March 8, 1901, when Gov. Henry Gage signed legislation creating the university after a successful grassroots effort led by journalist Myron Angel and local supporters.
This Founders Day, we’re celebrating 125 years of Learn by Doing and Mustang pride. Come mix and mingle with alumni and friends, show off your green and gold, and enjoy celebrating everything you love about Cal Poly.
This event will be held at SPARK Gardens Bungalows. Located in Mission Bay, SPARK features a rotating lineup of local food trucks, lively events and interactive experiences.
Tickets are $22 and include 15 tickets that can be redeemed at any of SPARK's food and drink vendors. Guests also receive this year’s limited-edition Cal Poly Founders Day swag. Additional food and beverages are available for purchase. The event is open to Cal Poly alumni and supporters of all ages.
Space is limited. Tickets must be purchased in advance by March 6 at noon; no sales will be available at the door.
