About this Event
Do you have your basic knowledge of cake decorating down and now you’re ready to move on to fine piping? In this class, Mayra Garcia from celebrateMe!, will teach you how to enhance your piping skills with a few simple steps. Students will learn various piping techniques to make buttercream draping, borders, wording and swirls.
During the class, students will practice different designs on a 6” dummy cake. Each student will receive a 6” crumb coated cake ready to be piped with the design each student sketches. This class is recommended for students that have taken the Intro to Cake Decorating class or have basic knowledge working with Buttercream.
Available to students ages 13+
All items and tools needed to decorate will be provided for use during the workshop only. All students are eligible for a 5% discount on purchases at Fran's on the day of class. Please bring your own apron.
Class requires a minimum of 4 students and there is a maximum of 6 students. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund. Changes and cancellations are permitted up to 7 days before the class. No refunds or changes are allowed within 7 days of the class.
In respose to the pandemic, we have reduced the number of students in each class in order to maintain proper social distancing. Face coverings are required during the class. If you forget yours, we have disposable face masks that you can use. We also have plenty of hand sanitizer for use during the class.
Note: Eventbrite charges a fee of $5.20 for each ticket. This fee is already included in the price of the class. In the event that you request a refund for any reason, this fee is non-refundable. In the event that the class is cancelled, the Eventbrite fee will be refunded.
