About this Event
Mayra Garcia from celebrateMe!, will demonstrate and teach you how to make 4 different types of cake frosting including: Swiss Merengue, Cream Cheese Frosting, Vanilla and Chocolate American Buttercream. Students will take home 4 cupcakes, each topped off with a different frosting.
Students will also learn how to make royal icing for cookie decorating. Mayra will teach you how to acquire the proper consistency for outlining and flooding your cookies.
Class will be between 2.5-3 hours long. This is a demonstration only class, although it will be very hands on as we will feel and taste each icing as we go.
Available to students ages 13+
All items and tools needed to decorate will be provided for use during the workshop only. All students are eligible for a 5% discount on purchases at Fran's on the day of class.
Class requires a minimum of 4 students and there is a maximum of 6 students. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund. Changes and cancellations are permitted up to 7 days before the class. No refunds or changes are allowed within 7 days of the class.
In respose to the pandemic, we have reduced the number of students in each class in order to maintain proper social distancing. Face coverings are required during the class. If you forget yours, we have disposable face masks that you can use. We also have plenty of hand sanitizer for use during the class.
Note: Eventbrite charges a fee of $4.39 for each ticket. This fee is already included in the price of the class. In the event that you request a refund for any reason, this fee is non-refundable. In the event that the class is cancelled, the Eventbrite fee will be refunded.
