Join Us for a Soulful Cuban Jazz Experience as Eddy Balzola & Oriente Bring the Rhythms of Cuba to Life as part of the 2nd annual Caribbean American Heritage Month Celebration, presented by the City of Fort Lauderdale BBID, at Las Olas Oceanside Park

Immerse yourself in the soulful melodies and vibrant rhythms of Cuba as Eddy Balzola and Oriente take the stage on June 15th.
Born in Guanabacoa, Cuba, Eddy Balzola is a virtuoso guitarist, composer, and arranger whose funky world fusion band made waves in the mid-90s. Backed by the talented musicians of Oriente, Balzola’s music is a unique blend of bluesy jazz, soul, and Afro-Cuban rhythms that promises to captivate audiences.
Led by Balzola’s masterful guitar work and accompanied by the sensational multi-percussionist Yoel Del Sol and world-class bassists Rusty Hari Heck and Dony Felix, Oriente’s sound is a rich tapestry of melodic, bluesy, and swingin’ tunes infused with serious organic rhythms. From heartfelt ballads to infectious funky grooves, their music offers a dynamic range of expression with the freedom to improvise at any moment.
Join us for an afternoon of musical exploration as Eddy Balzola and Oriente transport you to the streets of Havana with their electrifying performance. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the essence of Cuban music brought to life by these extraordinary musicians.
