About this Event
Cahaya Ramadan - "Prepare the Heart, Welcome the Light" is a heartfelt pre-Ramadan gathering designed to bring our community together before Muslims enter the holy month. It is a space to pause, reconnect, and ground ourselves in the spirit of togetherness before Ramadan begins.
Join us at the Victorian Pride Centre on 14 February, from 3pm to 7pm, for an afternoon of meaningful connection, reflection, and shared stories. Whether you are Muslim, queer, an ally, or simply curious, this gathering welcomes you to come as you are. Together, we will create a warm and affirming space to honour our identities, our faith, and our community as we prepare for the month ahead.
Please note that this event will be photographed and images may be used across our social media platforms. If you prefer not to appear in any public photos, kindly inform the organisers in advance.
