Eyewitness testimony in criminal investigations typically involves watching a mock-crime on a computer screen and reporting on what people remember from the event, which can often be disconnected from the real-life experience.
Join us for our June Café Sci where Dr Eva Rubinova will be talking about how virtual reality can overcome some of these limitations and take participants directly into the environment. She will share some of the work conducted in her lab over the past year using virtual reality stimuli and will discuss the impact of emotion on memory and assessing methods which facilitate detailed memory recall.
