Café Mortel « Que ferons nous de nos morts? » – Death Café « What will we do with our dead? »
La Petite Faucheuse nous propose ses Cafés Mortels, espaces chaleureux pour évoquer la mort autour d’un thé, d’un café ou d’un silence partagé. Ces rendez-vous s’inscrivent dans une volonté ancienne mais toujours vivante de remettre la mort au centre du jeu social. Ici, pas de conférence ni de morale : simplement un cercle de vivant·es,rassemblé·es pour dire et écouter.
C’est Laetitia, conseillère funéraire diplômée, cofondatrice de La Petite Faucheuse, qui animera ce café mortel. Elle partagera avec nous ses réflexions sur la thématique choisie et garantira un cadre sécurisant et libérateur.
Organisé dans le cadre du projet ERASMUS+ « Till death do us.. alive! », ce café mortel aura lieu en anglais et vous permettra de côtoyer les 21 participant·es venues d’Espagne, Grèce, France et Serbie pour échanger et se former sur des outils et méthodes permettant d’aborder la mort et les funérailles avec différents publics.

La Petite Faucheuse offers us its Death Cafés, welcoming spaces to discuss death over tea, coffee, or shared silence. These gatherings reflect a long-standing but still vibrant desire to put death back at the center of social life. Here, there are no lectures or moralizing: simply a circle of the living, gathered to talk and listen.
At the beginning, Laetitia, a certified funeral director and co-founder of La Petite Faucheuse, briefly shares her thoughts on the chosen theme. This is followed by a reminder of the safe and liberating framework—the rules established to guarantee a space for both free and regulated discussion—that constitutes the heart of the death café.
Organized as part of the ERASMUS+ project « Till death do us… alive! » This death café will be held in English and will allow you to rub shoulders with the 21 participants that came to Lautrec from Spain, Greece, France and Serbia for 1 week training on tools and methods for addressing death and funerals with different audiences.
