An evening dedicated to Open Mic celebrating Café Writers and our vibrant writing community at the Maddermarket Theatre in Norwich [Entrance in St John’s Alley NR2 1DR]. There will be readings from the Committee and Open Mic slots – sign up at the door – length of slots will depend on how popular they are – maybe 3/4 minutes rather than the usual 2 so bring along two poems (or four minutes of prose) if you want to read and also any Books or Zines that you would like to promote or sell. We aim to create a relaxed and social evening where we can share our love of poetry.DOORS will be open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. We suggest a donation of minimum £3 for those who attend. The venue includes a bar.
