Time for a ride to Lucerne Valley for a lunch stop at Café 247 for some really good BBQ. We will take the Valley route to get there. Route back after lunch will depend on mountain road conditions, but the initial plan will be to go up highway 18 and drop into the east side of Big Bear by Baldwin Lake and then up and over Big Bear Lake through Fawnskin then down the mountain.
This ride will have freeway, two lane desert roads and plenty of twisties after Café 247.
Skill Level: INTERMEDIATE due to the twisties of the mountain roads.
For your safety and that of the group, we require that you show up with a DOT-approved helmet, full tank of gas and tires in good condition. It is imperative that you show up at Lifestyle Cycles in Anaheim for the pre-ride safety meeting to ride with the group.
