Café Riche Recital is the culmination of the 19th Annual Live Music Summer Intensive.........
Step back on the golden era of Cairo, brought to life in modern Marrickville. This rare and intimate evening features the Sydney Arabic Music Ensemble. A 5 piece band dedicated to the beauty of Tarab classics, alongside guest performances by Jrisi, Virginia, Eleni, Nancy plus our honorary guest Amera Eid! There will also be a special finale performed by the dance participants of the Summer Intensive.
Enjoy a drink and complimentary refreshments as you soak up the ambiance of this vibrant evening where cultures unite in a beautiful mosaic of music and dance.
The event will be professionally live-streamed and crystal clear visuals and incredible sound. So even if you aren't in Sydney, you can enjoy Cafe Riche from anywhere in Oz and beyond!
This recital is a rare opportunity to experience the beauty of Tarab music performed live by exceptional artists.
Guests can also enjoy a beautiful souvenir photo by taking a snapshot in our specially designed Vintage Corner, capturing the spirit and elegance of the evening.

I always aim to keep prices fair and accessible, however it’s important to also consider the broader Sydney event landscape, where many comparable events charge similar rates without offering the same level of professional equipment, delivery, and production quality.
🎟️ Ticket Information:
- Seating: First in, best dressed — seats cannot be reserved.
- No door sales: All tickets must be purchased in advance.
- Seating style: A relaxed cabaret setting featuring a mix of chairs, tables, lounges, and floor cushions.
- Doors open: 6:15 pm
- Show starts: 6:30 pm sharp.
- No intermission: The show will run continuously without breaks.
- Audience participation: Guests are welcome to get up and dance at the end of the performances and presentations.
- Late arrivals: If you arrive late, please find a seat closest to the back to avoid interrupting the performances.
- Non-smoking venue: Please refrain from smoking in the corridors and studio areas.
- Refreshments: A complimentary selection of light refreshments will be available.
- Bar service: A bar will also be open for guests wishing to purchase drinks.
- Children: If you are bringing children, we kindly ask that they remain seated throughout the performances.
