You're Invited to Join Our Street Retreat!Step outside your comfort zone and experience a 48-hour Street Retreat—a powerful journey that will challenge your perspective and deepen your compassion. This retreat offers a unique opportunity to live in the moment, bear witness to those often overlooked, and break down the barriers that separate us. For two days, you'll walk in the shoes of the homeless, building empathy, understanding, and a sense of connection.

Retreat Duration:
Wednesday, November 6 at 5:00 p.m. – Friday, November 8 at 5:00 p.m.
(Participants are encouraged to attend the Homeless Awareness event at the Market following the retreat at 6:00 p.m.)

All proceeds will support agencies assisting during the retreat.

Guidelines:
1. Do not shave or wash your hair for a couple of days before the retreat. This will also start your street retreat experience before leaving home.
2. Wear old clothes, as many layers as you feel appropriate for the time of year, and do not bring any change of clothes for the retreat, except for an extra pair of socks.
3. Be prepared for weather extremes, particularly cold and wet. Wear good, but not new, walking shoes. We will do a lot of walking.
4. Bring your Driver’s License or a State I.D. with your picture on it as well as your health insurance card.
5. Bring a bag or backpack to carry items we may pick up.
6. Bring a poncho for rain and a blanket for warmth.
7. Do not wear any jewelry, including earrings, bracelets, and watches.
8. Do not bring any money, illegal drugs, alcohol, or weapons.
9. You may bring your cell phone and charger.
10. You may bring the medication prescribed to you by your doctor.
We are limiting this retreat to 12 participants, and you must be register to be included.
