Suite 16B - When you walk in this entrance, the door is between the Wireworks Exchange and the York Merchant.Get creative and hands-on as you design your own unique cactus mosaic. This is a beginner-level workshop hosted by Amanda from Mosaic Montage, and no prior experience is needed.
During the class, you will be given a 10” tall painted wood cactus cut out and a washable water-based glue. You will get to pick from many shades of green machine tumbled glass, as well as every other color of the rainbow for your cactus’s pot. You can pick one color or all of them! You will learn the basics of making a mosaic and about the supplies needed to create your work of art. Since the glass is machine tumbled, it is sea glass smooth and safe to handle for all ages. You will be able to take your cactus home with you at the end of the class.
All materials needed for this workshop will be supplied to you as part of your registration fee. Class length is approximately 2 hours.
