Sarah Quigley joined Global Affairs Canada in 2007 after working as a corporate lawyer with Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP. Sarah has served in the Office of the Deputy Minister of International Trade and in the International Law Bureau as a specialist in economic sanctions law.

Outside of headquarters, Sarah has served in Washington, DC as Special Advisor to the Canadian Ambassador to the United States; as well as management roles in New Zealand and Australia. Sarah currently represents Canada as Consul and Senior Trade Commissioner at the Canadian Consulate in Sydney, Australia.

This has resulted in significant growth and impact in the Canadian marketplace and beyond for both our CAMSC certified suppliers and our corporate and government members.

Known for her business and community environment involvement, Cassandra has been named one of Atlantic Business Magazine’s 2021 25 Most Powerful Women, and has received one of Canadian Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (CDEI) Corporate Directors’ Award in 2023. She sits on the Supplier Advisory Council for Public Services Procurement Canada for the Government of Canada, the 50 – 30 Challenge Advisory Board, and Dalhousie University Board of Governors.

With, approximately 500 certified suppliers, 170 corporate members and billions of dollars in diverse spend, CAMSC is a proud member of both Supplier Diversity Alliance Canada (SDAC), single voice for supplier in Canada and Global Supplier Diversity Alliance (GSDA), promoting supplier diversity globally with councils in Australia, China, South Africa, and the United Kingdom, and board member for the Canadian Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (CCSBE).

As CEO for a not-for-profit volunteer-based organization, Mel leads the mission to promote trade and investment between Canada & Australia. The CACC is the only bilateral international chamber that has a presence and operations in both countries with nearly 4,000 members across both regions.

Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, the CACC has been leading the discussion of the Critical Minerals Nexus: Opportunity for Australia & Canada.

Minh is the Deputy Lead of KPMG Australia’s National Deals tax practice and was elected to the KPMG Australia National Board on 1 July 2023.

She has over 23 years of deals tax experience and has led some of the largest infrastructure and energy transactions in Australia. Minh also leads KPMG’s Global Infrastructure Investors Network and is a member of KPMG’s Global Sovereign wealth and pension funds Tax Steering Committee.

Minh holds a Science, Law (Honours) and Master of Laws degrees from the University of Sydney. She was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in 2000, was awarded the Corporate Tax Adviser of the Year Award from the Tax Institute in 2015, is a member of the IPA Tax Working group and is the co-chair of the Tax Institute’s Annual Infrastructure Tax conference.

Minh is passionate about diversity and inclusion in the workforce and an advocate for women in infrastructure.
