Cacao Ceremony and Sound Bath

The intention for this fun + sacred experience is to guide you to connect with your throat chakra, offering an opportunity to purify + awaken this potent energy center. We will work with the supportive plant medicine Cacao, practice EFT aka Tapping, and sound healing

Outline of the Ceremony

• Opening the Circle
• Receive ceremonial dose of cacao
• EFT (emotional freedom technique) Tapping
• Group breathwork + meditation/shamanic journey
• Sound bath
• Closing the Circle

This is a fun, safe, nurturing environment where all are welcome.

You will be lovingly guided + supported throughout the whole experience.

Cacao supports you to open your heart, connecting you with your Higher Self and Higher Power.

PLEASE BRING

• Pillow/Blanket/ or Yoga Mat [you will lay down for the shamanic journey & sound bath - bring whatever you need to be comfortable]
• Water for drinking [bottled, hydroflask, etc]
• Journal + Pen [recording your experience is encouraged + helps integrate afterwards]
• Open heart + mind

It is important that you arrive on time and plan to stay for the entire journey; Sacred space is created/opened as a group & closed together - this is integral.

PARKING + EVENT SPACE

• There is street parking up and down 9th St. some parking may be metered, but free after 5pm
• The Moxie is a private collaborative space inside a historic home. Please be sure to use your GPS to locate the "home" so you are clear on where to go. There is a sign mounted on the building to the left of the front door that says "The Moxie'' which will let you know you're in the right place!

It’s important to note that Cacao can be contraindicated for those with severe heart problems, as well as those on SSRI's and MAOI's.

If you’ve consumed chocolate in the past and have not experienced negative effects, cacao in small doses is likely to be safe to experience. Please let Ginger know prior to the start of the ceremony, if you think the above contraindications may apply to you and serving size can be adjusted to accommodate you.
