Cacao & Meditation

Dear Seeker,

Every Sunday for the last year (unless I'm out of town!), we gather together in Love & Service to practice The Way here in the magical Ojai Valley.

This event is an inner experience so we practice letting go of non-essential communication - with the option to share some words at the end, or walk down to the river together.

We start by having heart-opening cacao together (full transparency I own the cacao brand, but don't sell any at this event).

Then, drawing upon my time spent as a Zen Buddhist monk, I will briefly share an introduction to Zen practice so you leave with practical tools to help you on your journey. It is very easy to get lost in the wild west of spirituality.

Finally, we will move into the Meditation on Twin Hearts as taught by Tibetan Buddhist Healer & Spiritual Teacher Choa Kok Sui. It is a guided meditation on love, sending healing to the planet (what you do on the energetic plane has an effect on the physical), and akin to taking a spiritual shower. It is a powerful practice which facilitates the connection between the crown (energetic center of divine love & spiritual connection) and the heart (energetic center of personal love & intuition), a necessary development for aspirants on the spiritual path.

This event is a heart offering: a way to come together to steep in the Dharma, to receive, to cultivate love in our hearts, and to serve all beings. The Buddha, our original teacher, instructs us to practice Right Livelihood. My cacao brand Cora Cacao is the engine by which this event is able to be free, so by purchasing cacao (online) I have made it very easy to practice Dana (generosity) ;)
