The first step in building cabinets is constructing the "box" or carcass. In this, hands-on, class you will learn the proper techniques to create a strong and durable cabinet carcass. Joinery and assembly techniques for most cabinet applications will be discussed. The Kreg Jig will be demonstrated and used for the face frame assembly. Each student is responsible for supplying their own tape measure, steel rule, adjustable square, pencils or other marking device, notebook, safety glasses and hearing protection.Prerequisites: None
