Artists: Feeling a little cooped up and alone in your studio during these cold winter months? We invite you to enjoy this opportunity to work on your projects-in-progress in a relaxed open studio group setting with other artists in Lapham Gallery, surrounded by the inspiring works of LARAC’s Members Show. We’ll set up the tables, chairs and table coverings and artists can bring in their materials and supplies. LARAC staff will be on hand to facilitate the program and provide demonstration of techniques and tips, if requested. Open to artists working in water-based mediums, paper arts, fiber and textile arts, digital art, drawing mediums including pastel and charcoal. Sorry, we cannot accommodate oil paints or mediums requiring solvents that give off harmful fumes (if you have a question regarding acceptability of your medium in our space, please reach out to us).
Space available for up to 10 artists. Artists can choose to come in and create for the entire two hours or even for just a little while. This drop-in program is free but suggested donation of $10 is always welcome.
