Welcome! The Cuban American Bar Association (CABA) invites you to an unforgettable evening at the 2025 CABA Gala, as we celebrate this year’s theme — “El Próximo Paso.” “El Próximo Paso,” or The Next Step, represents CABA’s forward-looking vision as we forge new paths that elevate our members and community. This year’s theme invites attendees to reflect upon their journeys, celebrate their milestones, and envision the future. By focusing on the road ahead, CABA aims to inspire its members to continue breaking barriers and setting new standards of excellence. “El Próximo Paso” is more than just a theme; it embodies our resilience, ambition, and readiness to embrace challenges and opportunities that unfold before us. This year’s gala not only honors CABA’s illustrious past, but also sets the stage for the next chapter of its journey. Join us as we take “El Próximo Paso” together at the 2025 CABA Gala — an evening of promise, purpose, and endless possibilities.
Gala Information: The Gala will take place on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the InterContinental Miami located at 100 Chopin Plaza, Miami, FL 33131. Dress is Formal Attire.
Parking/Transportation: Onsite Valet Parking will be available, but we recommend using ride share transportation, such as Uber or Lyft.
The Gala is CABA's Installation and annual marquee fundraising event supporting both the Cuban American Bar Foundation as well as the CABA Pro Bono Project.

ABOUT CABA PRO BONO
In 1984, CABA Pro Bono Legal Services was created to assist disadvantaged members of our community with pro bono legal representation. Today, it continues to passionately execute its mission of changing the lives of children, individuals, and families who cannot otherwise afford effective legal advocates and representatives. CABA Pro Bono provides statewide legal representation to those most in need, serving about 1,800 clients per year, including: victims of human trafficking; veterans; victims of domestic violence; abused, abandoned, or neglected children; the elderly; immigrants, neurodivergent members of our community, and more. Over the last 40 years, the work of CABA Pro Bono’s dedicated staff, board members, volunteers, and donors, has yielded immeasurable value to the clients who receive their help and our community as a whole.
ABOUT CABA FOUNDATION
In 1995, as part of its mission to promote diversity and access in the legal services community, CABA launched the Cuban American Bar Foundation (CABF). CABF provides law school scholarships to law students across the country in an effort to assist those students in achieving their full potential through access to and increased diversity in the legal profession. CABF also manages and promotes efforts to endow law school scholarships throughout Florida.
