About this Event
Josh King is a creative producer, animator, and digital sculptor
with over 20 years of experience in the broadcasting industry.
During his tenure at WSOC-TV in Charlotte, Josh earned two
Emmy awards and 12 Telly Awards for Mecklenburg County for
his innovative storytelling, 3D animation and video production
work. He is a retired First Sergeant with 23 years of military
service. He has successfully blended his artistic talents with his
technical ability, creating a body of work that spans video
production, digital fabrication, and large-scale sculptures. His
projects include contributions to the WWI monument in France,
and sculptures for various military organizations.
Josh will be showing us how he uses his artistic ability to create
a 3sculpture on a computer and then print his work in 3D.
