A compelling dance-driven musical CABARET is set in 1931 Berlin. Focusing on the nightlife at the sexy Kit Kat Klub hosted by a flamboyant and sinister Emcee (Dwayne Lau) the story revolves around American writer Cliff Bradshaw (Vester Ng) a young American writer who newly arrived in Berlin and is immediately taken with English singer Sally Bowles (Kimberly Chan). Their relationship quickly blossomed into a dreamlike romance. Meanwhile life in Berlin takes a dark turn as Nazism rose to power.
Music by John Kander lyrics by Fred Ebb and a book by Joe Masteroff – based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood’s 1939 short novel Goodbye to Berlin.
