C2C Family Learning & Leadership Circle/ Circulo de Aprendizaje y Liderazgo

Through powerful parent storytelling, this forum aims to highlight the critical connection between housing, mental health, and education. It will increase awareness of vital family resources and housing rights, empowering individuals to address immediate needs while also advocating for long-term community solutions. Community leaders will teach effective advocacy strategies, building civic literacy and the capacity to represent children and families through civic leadership. Crucially, the Community Leaders will foster connections and relationships among other residents and other community leaders, strengthening collective action for housing solutions. Ultimately, it seeks to uplift family leadership and advocacy as a key driver for equitable and accountable policy and system change in specific around equitable and affordable housing. This will be hosted in Spanish with English interpretation available.

A través de narraciones poderosas de padres, este foro tiene como objetivo destacar la conexión crítica entre vivienda, salud mental y educación.
