About Guest Speaker: Timothy Flanagan Jr.
Tim Flanagan Jr. is a third-generation MassMutual leader and CEO of The Pelora Group, one of Charlotte’s largest and longest-standing financial services firms. Since taking the helm in 2004, he has led the firm through significant growth across the Carolinas, championing values-driven leadership and holistic financial planning.
A passionate advocate for culture and community, Tim co-hosts the Winning Through Culture podcast and founded the Hands and Feet Foundation, supporting organizations like Charlotte Rescue Mission and Rise Against Hunger. His firm also participates in MassMutual’s LifeBridgeSM program, providing free life insurance to help income-eligible families fund education.
Tim has been recognized among Charlotte’s “40 Under 40” and “Most Admired CEOs,” and his firm is consistently named one of the city’s “Best Places to Work.” He serves on MassMutual’s Field Advisory Council, Charlotte Uptown Rotary, and is a C12 member.
A graduate of Cabrini University with executive training from UVA’s Darden School, Tim considers his greatest achievement his family, his wife Jeanine and their two children, Sean and Caitlin.
