A public grand opening celebration will be held Thursday, Feb. 12, at 5 p.m. The event is open to the public and will include a reception, guided tours of the new facilities and athletic demonstrations highlighting the park’s expanded recreational offerings.
The comprehensive project includes a new 14,000-square-foot community center with an indoor gymnasium, a recreational pool, upgraded athletic fields designed for football, soccer and other field sports, an outdoor basketball court, and a playground featuring inclusive, ground-based play opportunities.
