Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Ron earned dual degrees in Finance and Management from the University of South Carolina before realizing the corporate world wasn’t his true calling. He launched his stand-up career in Atlanta, Georgia, and quickly made a name for himself, winning the Sierra Mist Late Night Laff Off in 2005.
In 2008, Ron became a finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, catapulting him into the national spotlight. Since then, he has been featured on hit shows such as Punk’d, Martin Lawrence’s 1st Amendment, Comics Unleashed, and Nickelodeon’s Cousins for Life (as Lewis, 2018).
Whether on stage or behind the scenes, Ron G. continues to shine as a versatile entertainer, bringing laughter and creativity wherever he goes.
