Community Volunteer Day – Seaside

Join us for a fun morning beautifying Havana Soliz Park in collaboration with Friends of Seaside Parks (FOSPA). There will be hands-on tasks for all abilities and ages. At the end of the event, Blue Zones Project will provide healthy snacks to celebrate a job well done. This is the perfect opportunity to get outdoors, move naturally, and connect with your community – while growing food and pollinator habitat!

What to expect: We recommend comfortable clothes and closed-toe work shoes. Please be prepared for all weather—this event will happen, rain or shine! A hat, sunscreen, and layers are always recommended. Please don’t forget your reusable water bottle.

Time: 10 AM -12 PM

Location: Havana Soliz Park - Between Lincoln Street and Havana Street - Seaside

Parking/Transportation: There is free parking around the park, and we encourage you to walk, bike, or take public transit if possible. Look for the Blue Zones Project flag!

Únase a nosotros para una divertida mañana embelleciendo Havana Soliz Park en colaboración con Friends of Seaside Parks (FOSPA). Habrá tareas prácticas para todas las habilidades y edades. Al final del evento, Blue Zones Project Monterey County proporcionará refrigerios saludables para celebrar un trabajo bien hecho. ¡Esta es la oportunidad perfecta para salir al aire libre, moverse naturalmente y conectarse con su comunidad, mientras cultiva alimentos y hábitats para polinizadores!
