Eating with Purpose:
Indigenous Recipes for Longevity & Well-Being
Join us for a cooking demonstration with Chef Pascal Dionot of Classic Cooking Academy, where we’ll explore dishes inspired by Indigenous culinary traditions, featuring nutrient-rich ingredients such as tepary beans and Three Sisters salad. These vibrant, plant-forward recipes celebrate the rich heritage of indigenous foods through fresh vegetables, legumes, and whole grains packed with flavor and nourishment.
We will learn to create delicious dishes using ingredients native to the Americas—while keeping your plate healthy and your body energized.
This program follows the principles of the Blue Zones, regions around the world known for the longevity and well-being of their residents, attributed in part to diets rich in fresh vegetables, whole grains, legumes, and healthy fats. The recipes presented align with the Blue Zones’ emphasis on natural, balanced eating, fostering personal wellness and a sense of communal connection through shared food traditions.
