Marriage & Family Therapy is a great field with many options and there are many amazing graduate programs and employers to choose from. Mental health care is growing nationwide and MFTs are one of the most in-demand employees. Many choose to work in private practice, but they also work in residential treatment centers, hospitals, group practice and other settings. Being an MFT may allow for great flexibility while also making a positive impact systemically treating presenting problems in families, couples, and individuals.
BYU Marriage & Family Therapy program will be hosting the Annual MFT Graduate Fair on Friday, October 4th from 9:00am-12:00pm in the Engineering Building at BYU.
This fair is an opportunity to mingle as professionals and an opportunity for programs to recruit MS and undergraduate students to their respective programs. Mental health agencies and other employers are also able to recruit students for internships as well as advertise their services.
In the past, hundreds of students and other adults from throughout Utah (and even some from out of state) have attended this fair to seek information about the various programs throughout the nation. BYU students are typically very diligent workers, BYU has consistently been one of the top institutions to send students on for graduate education. We value our relationship with our fellow academic professionals and hope you will be able to attend.
If you would like to attend as a recruiter, please email [email protected].
Registration and attendance is FREE and open to the public.
