About this Event
This training workshop will include a keynote speaker, breakout sessions to apply learned strategies to real-world examples from our community, and a moderated panel of local experts. There will be resources and information shared to take away from the session. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Knowing how to respond to intimate partner violence, discrimination, harassment and other harmful behaviour can prevent harm and show others that we stand up for one another. In this training, you'll learn practical strategies to de-escalate situations, support those targeted, and contribute to a culture where everyone feels respected and safe.
