Take a look at the poet Lord Byron’s connections to Nottinghamshire. Explore why, as a boy, he first came to Nottingham, and discover his links with Newstead, Annesley, Southwell, Newark and Hucknall.

This single session will take learners on a virtual tour of the locations in Nottinghamshire associated with Lord Byron. Learners will gain a knowledge of Lord Byron’s time here, and how his experience in Nottinghamshire shaped his life and poetry.

No previous knowledge is needed.

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
