Red cheeks on snow-whipped peaks, a kwikk lunsj and we’re carving tracks downtown. An indelible burr awaits as sun rays streak longer and deeper through a concrete maze. Everything is quiet… for now. The din grows loud as dynamic peaks make themselves distinct, and the dance floor emerges. Silhouettes writhe in a wake of bass, undermining a city dormant, now awake.
It’s bypåsekefestivalen 2025 and our annual city escape dominates the long weekend with some of the usual suspects and then some... Prins Thomas’ Full Pupp celebrates a new release, Finnebassen returns after a long absence, Skatebård takes on the basement, and Schmooze and Brus take over a whole floor.

Prins Thomas
Prins Thomas’ contribution to the Oslo music scene is unmatched, but his beginnings are humble. Back, way back in time, he started playing around as a DJ at a puerile age. Viewed as an extension of his break-dancing efforts, belt-driven turntables were enough to support his mix of hip hop, electro and an array of Arthur Baker’s and Shep Pettibone’s jewels. That passion for the music and the legacy of places like paradise garage has been channelled through every aspect of Prins Thomas’ being. Through his label Full Pupp and through his sets he is a musical connoisseur with unparalleled skills in the booth.
Isoebel
Isoebel is a new inductee in the DJ booths around Oslo. As somebody that’s been a familiar presence on the scene’s dance floors in recent times she’s made the move from the dance floor to the booth. With Prins Thomas taking her under his wing, his mentee has hit the ground running in her new role. Going from the DJ booth to the recording studio she and Prins Thomas are Double Trouble.
Elli
Electronic musician and singer/songwriter originally from Greece, ELLI, has called London home for the past 15 years, balancing her career as an automotive engineer with her passion for creating music. After collaborating with several producers as a vocalist, she released music on renowned labels like Connected, Anjunadeep, Objektivity, and Truesoul. In addition to her successful collaborations, ELLI's solo journey began with her debut single "Race My Heartbeat" on Prins Thomas’s Horisontal Mambo label. She followed up with "Just for Me & You", released as part of Steven Julien's DJ Kicks mix on iconic !K7 Records. Channelling a broad range of influences, her solo project explores the intersection between ambient/ electronic ethereal soundscapes and a more upbeat side that leans towards cosmic synth-pop.
Skatebård
Skatebård, the Norwegian producer of all things electronic. Connoisseurs know that his catalogue oscillates between emotional techno, neo-italo, electro from an alternative future and a Scando-cosmic reinterpretation of pure Detroitian house. Skatebård releases on labels like Digitalo Enterprises / Kompakt, Radius Records, Supersoul Recordings, Tellè Records, Keys of Life Finland, Luna Flicks, Totally and Sex Tags Mania.
Normann
A DJ avoiding the ubiquitous producer title, Normann is defining his sound from the booth with sets for the likes of Villa and Jaeger. With foundations built on the minimal traditions, Normann bounces between elements of Deep House and Tech House, focusing on cold atmospheric mood building through the set.
Ole HK
A rising star on Oslo’s DJ circuit, Ole has been a regular favourite at Jaeger. Associations with the sous-vide records crew, Finnebassen and Norman, sees Ole regular play amongst the city’s elite clubs and concepts and at Jaeger he can often be found playing on Sundays and Thursdays. Ole has a penchant for the minimal sounds that lean toward Techno and the deeper side of House, but can be heard playing across the board.
Schmooze & Brus
Schmooze & Brus are a force that originated from a student disco block-party in a backyard at Bislett in 2021. What started as a small gathering quickly evolved into a cultural movement that celebrates the love of groove and aims to diversify Oslo’s nightlife. With their roots embedded in club-stages of venues like Ingensteds and Jaeger, Schmooze & Brus has become a cultural phenomenon, connecting young minds through their shared passion for music, dancing and unique journeys in disco, house, and techno
Charlotte
Born in the South of France but native of Cargèse in Corsica, Charlotte knows an exponential trajectory on the electronic stage of the South of France. Her inspirations come mainly from the underground music of Romania. Aged of only 18 years old, she’s started playing in the Polikarpov Bar in Marseille, in Nîmes too. She also inaugurated the “Techno Wednesday” at the Mistral in Aix-en-Provence and also at Spartacus Club. But it’s playing at the Cargese Sound System Festival last summer that she passed a new step in her DJ career. After this show, she played for the first time in Paris. Now, she regularly plays at La dame Noir in Marseille, one of the best electronic music club of the South of France.
Ben Sims
From the early formative days, Ben has earned his stripes spinning hip hop, house and rave on pirate radio, at parties around Essex and East London through the 90’s as an in demand DJ. Moving into the new millennium as a label boss, producer and internationally recognised techno legend in his own right, Ben Sims has spent all his conscious life exploring the many facets of underground dance music.
Throughout that time, the man has honed his reputation as a tight, energetic mixer who skilfully weaves together his own distinctive blend of tough funk and hardgrooves, often using three-deck wizardry and plenty of dexterity.
Dara Woo
Dara Woo is making a name for herself in the club scenes of Oslo. Born in Bangkok, Thailand- raised in Oslo, Norway. As a Part of Oslo's Techno brigade, and her solid performance her sets are ruthless and determined.
With all the odd rhythms and catchy sounds of creative club music between a groovy mix of house, disco, electro and acid techno, as well as pulsing minimal rhythms, dub, break, and garage. A driving Phenom energy you'd expect—or will come to expect, -if this is going to be your first time hearing her.
g-HA & Olanskii
Two pivotal bodies in the sphere of Norwegian electronic music, g-HA & Olanskii are an event, a club, a DJ duo, and a musical authority for Norway. Individually adept as DJ, selectors and tastemaker, Ola “Olanskii” Smith-Simonsen and Geir “g-HA” Holger’s musical voices unified for Sunkissed, an events series that has become the backbone of Oslo’s electronic music scene and beyond.
Ronny Rabalder
Ronny Rabalder’s position in Oslo is firmly embedded in the firmament of the city’s nightlife today. There’s rarely a Techno event that passes through the city in which the DJ is not involved in, and as card-carrying member of the Sunkissed crew Ronny Rabalder is a permanent fixture in the expanse of electronic music today. His selections can easily go beyond Techno, but its always the genre to which he returns.
MC Kaman
A larger than life figure and one of the proprietors of Oslo’s “hard core clubbing” (sic) institution, MC Kaman might play underground, but his sole purpose in life is cultivating a convivial atmosphere. His CD cases quite literally bulge with guilty pleasures and affable arrangements from the charts. There’s no musical taboo that MC Kaman is not willing to accommodate and the music he plays. There is no irony to be found in an MC Kaman set… only a good time in the company of good popular music. MC Kaman POPs!
Fisky & D’Sverre (aka Filip Von Hirsch & Onkel Sverre)
D’Sverre (Onkel-S) and Fisky (von Hirsch) met on a rainy night on a temperate dance floor in Brooklyn in 2018. The 909-seeking duo quickly found their common multiple in thick basslines and blazing synths.
Fast forward a few years, and the duo has taken hold of countless dance floors in Oslo. As a homage to the festive season, the duo will bring vinyl cases filled to the brim with musical treats. Garlic and crosses are set out in the battle against Bedouin vibes when D’Sverre & Fisky fill the Sauna with bold vibes. Put on your waders, it’s going to get sweaty.
Hetty
Ever since he snuck his way in at the age of 19, few have put in more hours at Jaeger than Hetty, and it can’t be ignored that Jaeger has played an important role in developing his taste. Over the last decade he has cultivated a signature style of bass driven, non-obvious but dancefloor friendly tunes - from the deeper side of space disco, through the original sounds of US house, with a hint of 00s tech, blending it together with some of the modern day high energy house music - resulting in dynamic sets full of pleasant surprises.
J.Andre
Andre started his musical journey at a young age and since then his head has been warped in record digging, collecting and playing. With over two decades of experience he has found his personal style with house and techno, both modern and nostalgic, always with a dance floor in mind. This has led to him playing at the most mention-worthy venues in Oslo, as well as Culture Box in Copenhagen, and becoming a resident at the DJ collective and record label Det Gode Selskab. His approach to music can be summarised simply: dedication, respect and patience.
diskJokke
diskJokke was first discovered back in 2008 when signing three tunes to Prins Thomas Full Pupp label (released on two 12” singles). Almost simultaneously in Germany, M.A.N.D.Y, DJ T and the Get Physical gang signed diskJokke for five other tunes (spread on two 12” singles) to their new Get Physical sub label, Kindisch. Upon hearing his 12”s, word quickly spread about diskJokke’s quirky, spaced out and dubby mixture of house, Italo and disco, and he was soon asked to remix tunes for a number of artists. As a DJ, diskJokke has played everything from Panoramabar Berlin, Space Ibiza, Liquid Room Tokyo, D Edge Sao Paulo, Razzmatazz Barcelona, in addition to festivals such as Sonar, Big Chill, Dour, CTM and Øya.
Vinny Villbass
One of the most pivotal figures in Oslo’s DJ community, there is no current narrative in Oslo’s electronic music scene where the name Vinny Villbass could be negated. A producer, artist, sound guru and DJ, if it involves music, Vinny Villbass is somehow involved. He occupies a variety of related positions in electronic music from the studio to behind the curtain and it all culminates in his experience as a DJ.
