About this Event
Our BYOP Social is our Bring Your Own Project craft night. It's all about bringing your cozy crafts and working on a project with like minded makers. Bring your unfinished objects, bring that project you just don't have space for, or start that craft you've always wanted to do. We're an LGBTQ space who loves to support people making and repairing their own things.
Anything portable that doesn't require power tools, create fumes, and isn't super loud is welcome. We have a vast library of recycled materials that we're happy to share. We've had people bring sewing, weaving, model kits, laptops for coding, someone even brough a prosthetic hand to paint. The woodshop and paint booth are not available during this event.
Bringing your cozy crafts and work on a project with like minded makers. Free coffee and tea is always provided at this sober social. Snacks to share are encouraged but not required. Please let us know ahead of time if you have any dietary restrictions/allergies.
We tend to put the lights down during this event with some chill music on and work lamps set up at each table. While we keep the music chill and on the quiet side, we are happy to provide noise cancelling headphones for anyone who requires them.

ACCESSIBILITY:
- There is a big step from the street to our stoop that we're happy to help you with
- Our 3 washrooms are all-gender with the accessibility washroom in classroom 2
- We're a queer friendly and neuro-affirming studio space and ask that that be respected
- Masks are optional, but encouraged. If you would like the instructor to wear a mask at any time, feel free to ask.
Free coffee and tea are included with all our workshops. Borrow one of our mugs, or bring your favourite reusable drink container.
