Bring Your Own Container: FALL Floral Design

Location: The Botanic Garden at Historic Barns Park, Traverse City, MI
Expand your horizons and discover the joy of floral design! This hands-on class invites you to create your very own autumn-inspired masterpiece using both fresh and dried florals harvested from The Botanic Garden.
You’ll receive tips on how to cultivate and work with a seasonal selection of blooms, blossoms, and textural elements from the fall garden. No prior experience is needed — all levels are welcome!
What to Bring
- Your favorite snips or pruners
- BYOC (Bring your own container) A container of your choice (6” or less opening)
- Your creativity!
Light refreshments will be provided as you design and enjoy a fun, floral-filled evening.
Instructor
Matthew Ross, Executive Director of The Botanic Garden
Matthew is a trained horticulturist with extensive floral design experience, including award-winning designs at The Philadelphia Flower Show and competitions in the Designer Showcase. He brings his expertise and enthusiasm to Traverse City, ready to guide you through a relaxed and inspiring floral design class.
