Our destination is the Pioneer RV Resort in Bandera TX. The RV resort sits on the Medina River and is within walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops. The have a wonderful Thanksgiving Potluck where the food is terrific, and you do not have to cook (only one dish of course). We stayed here last year and had a wonderful time. We have been assigned spots 3 to 7 near the front. Just tell them you are with CC Bay Yacht Club. Sites going fast I would recommend reserving now if you are thinking about it. Do not have to pay until arriving. This park also has cabins, trailers and a train caboose for rental as well. Across the street there is the Vaquero Motel which as of this writing has three nice cabins overlooking the river, remaining at reasonable prices. These cabins are about a 3-minute walk to where the RVS will be, and both are a quick walk to the downtown restaurants and shops.
