Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert at St Andrew’s Church on the first Tuesday of each month at 11am: informal music events with a pop-up café from 10.30 where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes. December’s programme is a collection of seasonal music with a warming feel: some inspired by fire itself, such as De Falla’s Ritual Firedance, alongside contrasting lullabies and other beautiful melodies to calm the spirits. Music by Vivaldi, Fauré, Gladys Rich and others.
Concerts last c45m and entrance - or rather, exit! - is by donation, with a retiring collection. An RSVP via our website, www.trioparadis.com, is much appreciated but not essential.
