Learn to create contemporary and expressive portraits with award-winning artist Seabastion Toast. In this five week drawing course participants will use graphite and charcoal to learn the foundational elements of proportion, shadow, shape, angles, facial features and developing a likeness. Suitable for both beginners and advanced students.

Seabastion Toast is a prolific painter whose vibrant canvases capture the essence of light, pattern and the beauty of everyday moments. Blending abstract compositions with astute observations of daily life, Toast creates immersive worlds that beckon viewers to explore and connect with their innermost thoughts and emotions. Toast recently won the 2024 Percival Portrait Painting Prize.
