About this Event
Earn-A-Bike and Learn-To-Ride alumni of all ages, along with parents, siblings and volunteers, are invited to join St. Louis BWorks for a crisp morning of gentle riding (and probably a few walkers) and representing in Ameren's Thanks-for-Giving Parade. We'll meet with our bikes and helmets (required!) at the still-to-be-determined parade starting point in downtown St. Louis (near Market and Broadway), having been recently selected as one of more than 100 different entities participating in this year's parade.
Registration at this link is required to participate, especially since we'll be contacting you with key details as we get closer to this Thanksgiving morning event and organizers require a specific estimate of participants. Our current estimated gathering time is 8:30 a.m., but I may need to adjust that slightly as parade organizers finalize logistics.
Also: Does your BWorks grad's bicycle need some TLC leading up to the alumni ride? Stop by BWorks (2414 Menard Street in Soulard) in the days leading up to the ride (between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, or between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday). If you stop by at least a week prior to the parade ride with the bike, our staff and volunteers will be happy to take a look at the bike and help ensure it's parade ready!
