Join experienced and enthusiastic instructors in a beautiful 3,000 acre outdoor classroom in this immersive 40-hour introduction to the Big Woods and Big Rivers of Minnesota. Beginners welcome! Winter is a great time of year to learn native trees and shrubs, landscape formations, animal tracks, lichens, explore life below the snow and ice, and more. Participants should expect to spend time outdoors each day. All participants will contribute to a small group capstone project in order to complete the course. Individuals interested may not register for single programs—the training is intended for those committed to attending all meetings listed.The course cost is $295 and includes course manuals and supplies.
