The Birmingham VA Health Care System Stroke Support Group meets every 1st Wednesday of the month at the Birmingham East Irondale Clinic, from 2pm-4pm. This group is led by a Nurse Practitioner (Autumn Zuchelli), Social Worker (Kacy Sandefer), and Occupational Therapist (Megan Zahorscak). This group group offers holistic support focused on resilience, functional recovery, and emotional well-being for Veterans navigating life after stroke.
