About this Event
Enjoy the fall ecology of fields and forests as we hike to Buzzards Roost where we will explore the geology of this incredible overlook. From there, we will descend to the dramatic cliffs that define Buzzards Roost, discussing the importance of cliffs and rock outcrops as climate resilient biodiversity reserves. We will complete the loop by hiking along Wildcat Run. This hike is a part of Horn Farm Center’s Wild & Uncommon weekend.
What to Expect: This is a moderately difficult 4-mile loop hike with some steep climbs on a rocky trail. There are no restroom facilities on site. This hike is for ages 10 and up (participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult).
