Butterfly Walk at Haugh Wood with Martyn Davies

In 2022 we saw 22 different butterfly species along the edges of the rides on south side of Haugh Wood, including the rarely seen purple hairstreak. Join the walk this year and perhaps in 2024 we will break that  record. It is a joy to see such a variety of butterflies flitting along the rides:  clouded yellow, silver washed fritillary, white-letter hairstreak, brimstone and holly blue to name just a few. The walk will once again be led by Martyn Davies, who has written a definitive study of the Haugh Wood white- letter hairstreak.
