Join us to celebrate one of our favorite pollinators. In this family workshop, participants will learn about the importance of pollinators and the lifecycle of a butterfly. Each participant will adopt a painted lady caterpillar and build a habitat for it to grow in. At home, you will be able to witness the magic of the butterfly metamorphosis and release the painted lady into nature to carry out the rest of its life cycle.*This workshop is intended for children ages 4-10 years old. Children must be accompanied by one adult guardian. Due to restricted space, please limit registration to only one adult per child.
*Adult guardians wishing to make their own Butterfly Habitat must purchase a ticket in addition to their child’s ticket.
*Adults who are simply accompanying their child should select the “Adult Guardian Only” ticket.
