About this Event
Join us in the new greenhouse venue where Eric Sachs, local butterfly expert, will offer an in depth, educational class about all things Butterflies! Class will include real life examples of various stages of their lifecycles and many other exciting things you did not know about the butterflies you see in our area!
Once class is over, head on out to the butterfly exhibit where you will get to take turns immersing yourself in butterflies, take some fun pictures, and interact with various types of butterflies!
Once you have learned all about and interacted with Butterflys, you will also get to take home a real life Monarch Butterfly Chrysallis to watch it emerge at home. Once emerged, you can release it outside and watch where it goes! Chrysallis' are sourced locally and ethically in Tuscarawas County from All A Flutter Butterflies. (You may have seen her at one of many local butterfly exhibits- she's been an expert on butterfly's for decades! )
The greenhouse (Grown By Grace) will also be open for plant shopping! Choose from TONS of common and rare succulents, cacti, houseplants, pots, crystals and other unique plant related items. There will be a special selection of affordable butterfly host and food plants available to help you attract them all to your own gardens!
One ticket must be purchased for each person attending. Children 3 and under are free and do not need a ticket to attend, but will need to sit on a lap as seating is limited. 1 Chrysallis per ticket purchased. Extra Chrysallis' will be available for purchase at the event.
Please note- if purchasing anything while here, we only accept cash or Venmo as payment. No cards. We are offering this Festival on Saturday Aug 23rd & Sunday Aug 24th, 2025- purchase tickets accordingly!
