Butterflies, moths and dragonflies are a beautiful addition to the pollinator family, they are delicate and many species now struggling due to disappearing breeding grounds and the environment they need to thrive ! I have been doing wider countryside butterfly and moth counts locally for 11 years , these include dragonflies too and have learned about many species their life cycles and habitats
If you would like to learn more and tune into the frequency of creation and joy this is for you
A beautiful afternoon of learning about our local butterflies , dragonflies and some moth species , and tuning into the frequency of flow and creation!
💬 we will start by meeting at the car park (free parking) at the beautiful ebridge mill NR289NG
gathering by the canal with a herbal/fruit tea , ( I’ll bring a stove ) and have a chat about different butterflies, dragonflies moths , their life cycles, habitats and behaviour, there will be a guide/id sheet if you would like one
🦋 we will go for a wander around the meadow , by the woods and the canal walk with our note boards and do a short butterfly /dragonfly count , observing what species we find and enjoy the butterfly frequencies of freedom
📝 back to canal log our findings into the butterfly conservation trust data and chat about what we have found
🖌️💃 the butterfly frequency is joy and creation, moths represent the night , moon and spirit dragonflies represent expansion and transformation option to create a butterfly, moth or dragonfly related painting, drawing, writing, make some butterfly wings or a beautiful headdress whatever you feel you’d like to make or create ! There will be materials available
🧘♀️Closing with a sound bowl and drum meditation
Home made snacks and refreshments will be available , bring a picnic
