Steve Ansell, an avid naturalist, will speak on his fascination for nature that started with our native butterflies. His photographs will take you on a field trip crisscrossing the province highlighting the beautiful diversity of butterflies. Steve has identified over 70,000 photographs on iNaturalist for others. In 2022 alone, he identified 1/3 of the 9,000 butterflies posted for the David Suzuki Butterfly 'Bimby' project. Nature Chilliwack members are invited to arrive at 6:30 PM for a Pizza social prior to the speaker at 7:30 PM ($10 ea). Non-members will have to knock on the meeting room window prior to 7:30 PM on the west side of the central school doors so you can be let in, as the school locks the Learning Centre doors at 7PM.
