This course is all about achieving that perfect finish on your buttercream. You will split and layer your cake (focusing on the precision so your cake is beautifully level); you will flat ice the top, use ganache plates, apply buttercream around the sides and then finish with ruffle piping and sprinkles.
How to:
- slice your cakes
- fill your cakes ensuring absolute precision
- crumb coat your cake
- coat the top of your cake
- use ganache plates
- coat in buttercream
- do ruffle piping (that is evenly spaced)
- add sprinkles (without getting them everywhere!)
- store & transport your cake and advance preparation
