Every 2nd Saturday of the month at 12-noon, Bustin Headz provides a lunch for the homeless at Pathways in Rock Hill. We share the Word or a testimony, a hot meal, and love and encouragement for our brothers and sisters that are going thru a valley right now! We meet at Pathways at 11:00 a.m., thru Gate A in the back, and go to the auditorium to prepare the meal. Scripture calls us to do MORE as Christians. It's not enough to just have faith....we must ACT on it! No, our good deeds will not earn our place in heaven; Jesus already paid that price in full, in blood. But how can we show our lost brothers and sisters the true magnificence and wonder of God's love if we aren't acting on our faith, ideals, values, and words?
James 2:14-17
"What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."
So as a BROTHERHOOD we are stepping out of our comfort zones and into the obedient path the Father has laid before us. If you can't join, feel free to help in other ways- we accept donations to give Pathways (clothes, food, toiletries, medical supplies) or feel free to donate food or money for the meal. There's no obligation or requirement outside of what the Father places on your heart and intends for you!
Come join and help serve, share, or just be an ear or provide a moment of comfort! You'll be surprised at what God has in store for you. Much love!
