The International Buster Keaton Society invites you to celebrate the centenary of the classic silent film Seven Chances with a recreation of the bridal run in downtown Muskegon.All you need is a veil and a willingness to participate, and people of all genders are welcome. The run begins at Visit Muskegon's Visitor Center, also known as The Union Depot.
Seven Chances tells the story of Jimmie Shannon, who must marry by his 27th birthday to inherit seven million dollars, and features Buster Keaton’s signature physical comedy and inventive stunts. Participants can join in the fun by chasing a groom in this playful, historic event.
The bridal run is part of the International Buster Keaton Society’s annual weekend of events in Muskegon, which includes Saturday night screenings at the Frauenthal Center. Attendees can watch Seven Chances and Go West with live accompaniment by Dennis Scott on the theater organ.
