Busted Chops are an all-star funk fusion collective brought together by saxophonist and band leader Jess Mahler. Since their formation in 2021, the Chops have developed and honed in their unique sound, seamlessly blending a mix of old school funk, modal jazz and groove in order to bring listeners the funkiest, freakiest and fullest musical experience. The Chops do not come up short with tasty horn lines and dirty grooves to get you up and dancing, so be prepared to bring the boogie the party will be provided.
Over the last three years, Busted Chops have performed at a range of different venues and festivals across the Australian east coast, including Macedon Ranges Music Festival, Live at Warrawee, The Evelyn Hotel, Miami Marketta(QLD), Sydney Road Street Party, sold out shows at The Retreat Hotel, Last Chance RocknRoll Bar, Colour Club, as well as supporting Australian artists, The SevenUps, Charlie Needs Braces, The Seducephones, Ivy, Jake Amy Trio, The Steppers.
