Justine de Mierre (aka Lady J) is back at Folk East's lovely new venue with the super friendly gatherings that make up the fabulous Sea Grove Bay open mics!
Bring whatever you’d like to entertain an audience with: music, poetry, stories, comedy, philosophical musings and more all welcome!
Everyone gets the same warm appreciation – from tentative first timers to seasoned pros!
Audiences are welcome to join in, sing and dance along and grab that audience percussion to be the best instantaneous backing band anyone could ask for.
Plus Sam de Mierre (aka son of Lady J) is also back with his All Ages Open Mic -for everyone from 1 to 100! That knock knock joke your 5 year old just has to share or your beloved family sing-a-long song all have a place here - come and share with Sam!
Sign up sheets go up each morning or you can sign up with your host from 30 min before hand
PLUS Lady J will be creating a 'Best of Busking' showcase on Sunday at 4.30pm to give everyone a taste of the awesomeness of the weekend - and it could be you!
We'll be aiming to let performers know about the showcase within 15 minutes of the end of the session, so if you have to rush off but would like to be considered, make sure you let us know!
