Come one, come all to this grand creative street endeavour!The Buskers Festival is returning to South Dunedin on Saturday 18th October. Join us to bring King Edward Street alive with streetside performances, music and art.
This city fosters so much creativity and passion, and the Buskers Fest is committed to giving upcoming talent a platform to give it a go. All ages welcome!

We’re looking for musicians, bands, jugglers, comedians, poets, dancers, any performer keen for a crowd. Cash prizes to be won! Spot prizes for kids!
Adults pay a real modest fee to enter. This will help pay for the prizes. People aged 17 and under play for free!
The *stages will run 11am - 2pm across King Edward St. FYI the road will remain open for traffic!
At 3pm is the award ceremony, held at the Gasworks Museum on Braemar St. BBQ and more live music!
Buskers Festival Ōtepoti is made possible between Dream South D, Ōtepoti Dunedin Heritage Festival, and Fortify Events. It was last held in 2019 by South Dunedin Business Association, who passed the torch to this crew to set alight once again.
